Sadness is something that creeps inside of you like disease; it curls inside you and makes itself comfortable. It squeezes your insides and refuses to let go. And you can never forget it, the sadness. It obstructs your breathing and takes over your brain. Your body tries to rid of it in tears but is never successful. And then things start to take shape and the sadness becomes other things. Regret which transforms into self-loathing. And little red scratches start appearing allover your wrist, and the word slut is written on your palm, to remind you everyday of what you fucking are. And even then the sadness doesn’t go away it is always there. It will always be there, you will never be rid of it, it will only get worse.

Do you believe that things happen for a reason? Is there some cosmic force that influences people’s lives or does everything just happen with no meaning and no plan? I personally believe that it’s both. There are too many coincidences in life for things to be all random, but there’s enough pointlessness and wasted effort and pain and loss and grief and suffering that I don’t see how everything could all be part of some grand plan.

We are not necessarily doubting that God will do the best for us; we are wondering how painful the best will turn out to be.
Will you look back on life and say, “I wish I had,” or “I’m glad I did”?

Life is short -- kiss slowly, love deeply, and forgive quickly-forget the past, but remember what it taught you.
